Who We Are:
Lending Hands is a volunteer Michigan nonprofit social service organization located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, lending home medical equipment, for free, to residents of the Southwest Michigan counties of Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties. Lending Hands of Michigan is a 501-c-3 tax-exempt organization.
Equipment loaned out:
Following is a listing of home medical equipment loaned out by Lending Hands. Our equipment inventory includes, bath benches, bath tub rails, bed rails, canes, commodes, crutches, dressing sticks, hi-rise toilet seats, hospital beds, hospital overbed tables, IV stands, leg lifts, reachers, shoe horns, shower stools, sock-aides, transport chairs, walkers and wheelchairs.
NOTE: Some items have limited quantities, please call in advance of pickup. We hold equipment for no more than 72 hours. We do not have scooters, lift chairs or electric wheelchairs.

We Accept Donated Home Medical Equipment
Lending Hands accepts donations of the same equipment we lend out. To make a donation of equipment, please call Lending Hands at 269-567-4381. Donated equipment should be clean and in working condition. We do not accept scooters, lift chairs or electric wheelchairs.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday -- 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
Saturday -- 9:00 A.M. to Noon
Closed Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday and holidays.
We Need A Few Good Volunteers!
We need people wanting to help and make a difference in the lives of others. Help our clients and referral partners with their equipment needs, accepting donations of equipment, clean and repair equipment, handle telephone communications, clerical functions, special events and more.
